It is a Valuation/ Appraisal report that is conducted by an accredited or chartered or certified valuer or under his strict surveillance. Officially, since 2013, certified valuers in Greece are considered to be the ones that are registered in the "Registrar of certified Valuers" of the Ministry of Finance. This registrar consists of Valuers that are chartered either by the REV – TEGOVA scheme or by the RICS scheme. According to EVS 3, "Valuers will at all times maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity and conduct their activities in a manner not detrimental to their clients, the public, their profession, or their respective national professional valuation body. The valuer must be able to show professional skill, knowledge and competence appropriate to the type and scale of valuation and must disclose any factor which could compromise an objective assessment". So, we give the client a certain level of security in terms of both scientific and ethical standards.
